Meet The Team

Kristel Carrington, MD
I am a medical doctor, board certified in Psychiatry. I treat problems such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders, ADHD, OCD, interpersonal problems, and substance use disorders.
I provide psychotherapy (talk therapy) and/or medication management when needed. My psychotherapeutic approach incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness practices, and psychodynamic principles. My goal is to create a space where you can feel safe expressing your feelings, thoughts, and needs. I will engage you in an exploration of your mind, body, behavior, and relationships. I want to help you enhance your self-awareness and learn to practice self compassion. Symptom relief is not the only goal. I hope to help you discover your best self, take steps toward change, and thrive.

M. Ryan Murphy MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC/Co-Owner
I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who earned my Bachelor of Arts and Science in Biology at Marymount University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and a Master of Science in Nursing at Salisbury University, along with a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Degree from Maryville University. I have been in medicine since 2008, holding various roles, including student health insurance advocate, immunization advocate, medical scribe, certified nursing assistant, and registered nurse specializing in multi-system intensive care and rapid response teams. I also worked as a travel nurse, where I traveled to multiple hospitals along the east coast of the United States.
I hold a board certification from the American Nursing Credentialing Center, specializing in psychiatric mental health across the lifespan. My goal is to help clients create a safe space, enhance self-awareness, encourage empowerment, and work together to achieve their goals. I understand that while medicine can play an essential role in helping clients achieve full recovery, it is not always the sole answer. I believe that full recovery comes from collaboration with interdisciplinary professionals (therapists, counselors, etc.), family, friends, and, most importantly, the client to reach their objectives.
My favorite saying is, "Having mental health problems is like being stuck in the middle of the ocean drowning. The medicine helps you stay afloat, but it's the therapist that will help you get back to land."

Jessica Murphy, CEO/Owner
I have been working in medicine since 2008. During that time I have seen people come and go through the emergency department that could have easily been seen by their own provider. I found the best option is to provide those services that are hard to reach through the virtual offices. It is a convenient and an easily accessible way to get the care that our community desperately needs. I started this company with a goal to help as many people as I can. With the help of our amazing provider and staff, I promise we will do our best to help those who ask.
