At A New Hope Psychiatric Services, couples and family therapy may help with relationship stress, parenting challenges, family conflict, emotional disconnection, trust concerns, life transitions, caregiver stress, and communication difficulties.
Couples therapy may help with communication difficulties, frequent conflict, emotional disconnection, trust concerns, parenting or co-parenting stress, intimacy concerns, blended family challenges, and relationship stress affecting mental health or daily functioning.
Family therapy may help with parent-child conflict, family stress, caregiver support, child or adolescent behavioral concerns, supporting a loved one in treatment, safety planning, divorce or co-parenting transitions, and adjustment to major life changes.

What to Expect
New couples therapy clients may begin with a structured assessment process that helps the therapist understand the relationship history, each partner’s perspective, current concerns, goals for treatment, and whether couples therapy is clinically appropriate.
The Couples Therapy Assessment Package includes four sessions: one joint couples intake, one individual session with each partner, and one joint feedback and treatment planning session.
Family therapy may begin with an intake session involving the identified client and appropriate family members. Depending on the clinical situation, sessions may include parents, caregivers, spouses, siblings, or other important support people.
Cost
Couples Therapy Assessment Package: $750
Includes four sessions, each up to 60 minutes.
Ongoing Couples/Family Therapy: $175 per session, up to 60 minutes.
Couples/Family Therapy Packages:
- 4 sessions: $660
- 6 sessions: $960
- 8 sessions: $1,240
Couples and family therapy is a private-pay service.
